The evening will be held at Megan and Freeman Gunnell’s home in Northern Michigan (lovingly referred to as “The Treehouse”).
Spend the evening dining inside the living work of art you’ll be learning about.
Award-winning architect Ed Doyle will share the inspiration, philosophy, and creative process behind The Treehouse, along with a presentation of several of his notable projects.
Known for his thoughtful attention to detail and deep commitment to sustainability, Ed believes architecture should enhance its environment while inspiring the people who gather within it.
You’ll hear the story of how this beloved space came to life, the intention behind the light, the flow, the materials, and the feeling, while experiencing it firsthand.
The evening concludes with a seasonal farm-to-table dinner prepared by Chef Freeman Gunnell, featuring the freshest Michigan summer produce.
